Kentucky Colonel

Cocktail Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon Whiskey
1/2 oz. Benedictine

Instructions:
Shake well with cracked ice. Strain into old fashioned glass.
Serve with twist of lemon peel.

Kentucky Coffee

Cocktail Ingredients:
2 oz. Bourbon
Hot Coffee

Instructions:
Pour Bourbon into coffee cup. Add coffee. Top with whipped cream.

Hot Toddy

Cocktail Ingredients:
1 oz. Bourbon
4 oz. Boiling Water
1 tsp. Sugar
3 Cloves
Cinnamon Stick
1 Lemon Slice

Instructions:
Place sugar, cinnamon, lemon slice into coffee cup.
Add 1 oz. boiling water and stir.
Let stand for a couple of minutes.
Add bourbon and rest of boiling water.
Stir well and sprinkle nutmeg on top.

Highball

Cocktail Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
Club Soda or Ginger Ale

Instructions:
Pour Bourbon over 2 ice cubes into highball glass.
Fill with club soda or ginger ale.
Stir gently.
A twist of lemon peel may be added if desired.

Gulf Breeze

Cocktail Ingredients:
1 oz Blue Curacao
3 oz Champagne
1/2 oz Light Rum
1/2 oz Brandy
6 oz Lemonade
1 oz Lime Juice
1 cup Ice

Instructions:
Blend until smooth. Pour into sugar-rimmed glass. Top with a strawberry.

Ground Zero

Cocktail Ingredients:
3/4 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
3/4 oz. Bourbon
3/4 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Kahlua

Instructions:
Mix Ingredients with ice.
Strain into sour glass filled with ice.

Old Fashioned

Originating in the early 1800’s the Old Fashioned may be the first drink to be called a cocktail. It is traditionally served in a short glass now called an Old Fashioned glass.

Cocktail Ingredients:
2 ounces rye whiskey
1 sugar cube
3 dashes Angostura bitters
club soda

Instructions:
Place the sugar cube in an Old-Fashioned glass. ADD 2 or 3 dashes of Angostura bitters and a splash of water or club soda. Crush the sugar with a wooden muddler OR strong spoon. Rotate the glass so that the sugar grains and bitters give it a lining. Add a large ice cube. Pour in the rye (or bourbon). Serve with a stirring rod. Garnish with an orange slice or cherries.

Cafe Royale

Ingredients:
1 oz bourbon
1 sugar cubes
4 oz hot coffee

Instructions:
Place sugar cube in warmed demitasse cups and fill almost full of hot coffee. Carefully float 1 oz of bourbon in cup, ignite, and flame for a few seconds. Stir with spoon to extinguish the flames.

Grand Central

Cocktail Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
1 tsp. Simple Sugar
2-3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Instructions:
Shake well with cracked ice.
Strain into cocktail glass.

Geisha

Cocktail Ingredients:
2 oz. Bourbon
1 oz. Sake
2 tsp. Sugar Syrup
1 1/2 tsp. Lemon Juice

Instructions:
Shake well with cracked ice.
Strain into sour glass.
