Dry Punch

Punch Ingredients:
2 gallons Brandy
1 pint Rum
1/2 pint Curacoa
1 gallon Water
1/2 gallon Tea
juice of 6 Lemons
1 1/2 lbs. Sugar

Instructions:
Mix thoroughly (amount of sugar and lemon may be varied to taste).
Strain into bottles.
Bottle and keep on ice for at least 4 days, the longer the better.
Pour into punch bowl and serve.

Dragon Punch

Punch Ingredients:
Lemon slices
1/2 cup sugar
1 l. Ale
1 l. Porter
1 cup Amontillado
1 cup Brandy
2 750-ml. bottles Champagne

Instructions:
Put a block of ice in a chilled punch bowl and cover with lemons, evenly coating sugar onto the lemons. Add other ingredeints, adding the champagne just before serving. Serves about 35.

Cold Ruby Punch

Punch Ingredients:
1 quart Arrack
1 quart Port
1 quart Tea or Water
1 lb. Sugar
juice of 8 Lemons

Instructions:
Mix well with ice and serve.

Cider Punch

Punch Recipe:
1 quart Hard Cider
1/2 pint Sherry
4 oz. Brandy
juice of 1 Lemon
1/4 lb. Sugar
Nutmeg

Instructions:
Combine all but Brandy on ice in punch bowl.
Stir well.
Just before serving add Brandy, sprinkle nutmeg on top.

Christmas Punch

Punch Ingredients:
2 bottles Champagne
1 fifth Rum
1 fifth Whiskey
1 fifth Brandy
1/2 bottle Benedictine
1 quart Cold Tea
1 quart Orange Juice
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1 tblsp. Angostura Bitters
1 Pineapple (sliced)

Instructions:
Dissolve sugar in fruit juices in punch bowl.
Add all other ingredients except Champagne.
Mix well.
Add block of ice.
Just before serving add chilled Champagne and stir gently.

Champagne Punch

Punch Ingredients:
3 bottles Champagne
3 oz. Brandy
3 oz. Curacao
3 oz. Maraschino
2 litres Club Soda
1 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Lemon Juice
1/2 cup Water

Instructions:
Dissolve sugar, water and lemon juice in punch bowl.
Add Brandy, Maraschino and Curacao.
Mix well.
Add a block of ice.
Just before serving, pour in chilled club soda and champagne.
Stir gently.
Garnish with various sliced fruits and berries.

Canadian Punch

Punch Ingredients:
2 quarts Rye Whiskey
1 pint Rum
6 sliced Lemons
1 sliced Pineapple
4 quarts Water

Instructions:
Combine all with ice in punch bowl.
Sweeten with sugar if desired.

Buddha Punch

Punch Ingredients:
1 pt. Rhine Wine
1 cup Light Rum
1 cup Orange juice
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1/2 cup Cointreau
1/2 oz. Kirshwasser
1 oz. Sugar syrup
1 750-ml. Champagne
Lime Slices

Directions:
Mix ingredients in a chilled punch bowl, with a block of ice. Add champagne before serving. Garnish with lime slices.

Bombey Punch

Punch Ingredients:
Juice from a dozen Lemons
Sugar
1 750-ml. bottle of Cognac
1 750-ml. bottle of Dry Sherry
1/2 cup Maraschino Liqueur
1/2 cup Curacao
4 750-ml. bottles of Champagne
2 l. Club soda

Instructions:
Mix ingredients in a chilled punch bowl with a block of ice, adding champagne and club soda before serving.

Sangria

Sangria is a great summer drink that you can share on the deck, beach, patio, etc… With friends. While there are many variations that can be found elsewhere on this site, in this recipe we are going to concentrate on the traditional red sangria. While the recipe is below, the great thing about sangria is that you can easily customize it to your liking. Just because my recipe says to do it this way does not mean you have to. If you like more oranges, add them! I highly suggest making a pitcher of this to share… Or not.

Ingredients:
1 Bottle of a dry red wine. Don’t spend a lot of money on this as it will be mixes
1 liter of club soda or sparkling water
The juice of 2-4 limes
The juice of 2-4 lemons
The juice of 2 oranges
1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)

Directions:
Squeeze all juices out of all the fruits and pour into a pitcher. Add wine and soda then mix in sugar. Slice up extra lime, lemon and orange wedges to float in the pitcher giving an extra flavor punch. Refrigerate till code and serve in a regular glass or wine glass with ice. Garnish with a lime and cherry and enjoy.
